driver Bryce Menzies should win an Oakley "Bomb Award" for fastest lap and the driver of the year awards from Dirt Sports Magazine. The 24 year old dirt racer from Las Vegas created quite the uproar last year by taking two of the biggest championships in 2011. After capturing the Traxxas TORC Pro 2 championship in short course racing, Menzies went on to win the SCORE desert series Trophy Truck crown.
Bryce is a great competitor and a courageous racer in both short course racing and desert racing. XD Wheels
is proud to have Bryce on their team. We also love to see XD Wheels living up to their quality, and tearing through the desert or slashing through the other drivers on the short course tracks.
Bryce also earned the SCORE Rookie of the Year award for 2011. He captured both the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge overall victory and the Tecate SCORE Baja 500 to help him win that honor. Let's not forget the Oakley "Bomb Awards" he captured, whipping around the track on his XD Wheels to complete the fastest lap.
This years award was a true feat given the tremendous season and rise of extreme sport athlete, Brian Deegan. Deegan won the LOORRS Pro Lite title and in his rookie season captured the Pro 2 field title. Given the level of competition, XD Wheels is even more proud of the accomplishments Bryce Menzies was able to accomplish.
2011 was a great year for Bryce Menzies and XD Wheels. We look forward to cheering on Bryce in the future and celebrating the many years of great racing ahead. Bryce is just another shining example of what can be accomplished with XD wheels.
